Alex Paxton

Fitness Coach and Sports Nutrition Advisor

Alex was an athlete on a number of RnR Sport tri camps before joining the team as a coach.

Having worked in the high pressure environment of London’s media industry for many years Alex understands how to balance life, work and training to get the best from himself and others.

His personality, experience as a triathlete and love for the sport complements his coaching ability as he encourages others to surpass their own expectations.

Alex is a British Triathlon Level 2 coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Exercise Nutrition coach and holds a qualification in First Aid in Sport.

Adapting to the Covid crisis, Alex has embraced working with clients remotely, holding weekly circuit classes and conducting regular one-to-one consultations and training sessions.

As an athlete, Alex started life as a swimmer. Aged 15, he turned to lifting weights and kettlebells and became fascinated with how the body works –educating himself not only on how to train the body’s movements but also how nutrition is a huge part of the picture.

He has his wife, Gabi, to blame for starting Ironman. Determined to show Alex he could be an endurance athlete, she signed them both up to race in Lanzarote. Since then, he’s gone on to complete numerous marathons, triathlons and multi-day ultra marathons, including three Ironmans, including a return to the Canary Islands.
